“Two Chairs” 2005
These photographs were taken at the Foundation Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris. I visited the Foundation in the fall of 2005 to view an exhibition of Bill Brandt photographs. Inspired by the space, I returned the following day to photograph. In the spirit of the late Henri Cartier-Bresson, all of the images were captured with a Leica. Seven of the photographs taken that day are in the archives at the Foundation Henri Cartier-Bresson. The archives are available to scholars for research purposes.
